Good morning and welcome to church,

Compromise is a word used so frequently; it is used in political settings, relationships, court matters and almost any area of life you can think of.  Compromise is critical if you are going to have peaceful outcomes. So why do I want to talk about compromise in a less than positive manner today? Because when talking about the subject of apostasy, like we have been doing the past few weeks compromise is not a positive. Apostasy does lead to compromise; what we believe inevitably pulls our behavior with it. So many times what we believe leads to us compromising our beliefs, our positions on spiritual issues and therefore our behavior.

I look forward to teaching you again today on the danger of apostasy.
